Installation Guide
How to Install the Ridgeline
Installs in less than an hour. No electrician needed. No electrician. No special tools. Just a rubber mallet.
Tools Needed
Plan Your Layout
Measure each straight side of your garden bed, walkway, or driveway. Mark where corners will go. One power supply powers one continuous chain — no matter how many corners it turns.
Position First Panel
Place the first panel along your edge. The press brake flange (with the LED channel) faces outward — away from the garden bed. Push the bottom edge into the soil by hand to hold it in place.
Hammer Into Ground
Using a rubber mallet, tap the top flange evenly to drive the panel into the soil. Leave approximately 3 inches of the panel visible above ground. The LED channel should sit just above ground level.
Connect Panels
Each panel has waterproof modular connectors on both ends. Align the next panel and push together until they click. The LED wire connects automatically. No tools, no soldering.
Install Corner Pieces
Where your edging needs to turn 90°, connect a corner piece between two panels. The corner piece has wire pass-through so the LED chain stays continuous. Push-fit on both ends — same connector system.
Connect Power Supply
The first and last panel in your chain have open wire leads. Connect the included IP67 waterproof power supply to either end — whichever is closest to your outdoor outlet. Cap the other end with the included weatherproof cap.
Curving Panels (Optional)
For curved garden beds and tree rings, 16-gauge steel flexes naturally by hand. Gently bow the panel to follow the curve of your bed as you hammer it in. Curved sections must be raw steel — powder coat will crack at the bend.
